This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes Canner’s commitment to protect your information and, specifically, explains Canner’s privacy practices in relation to the use of Sites and the data collection and use practices for the information and/or reports that will be sent to, or collected by, Canner as a result of your use of the Products. When you use the Products, basic information about how you use the Products, which may include compliance with use limitations, is collected and sent to Canner on a periodic basis. In addition to ensuring compliance with license restrictions, this information will help us improve the features our customers use most often and to create solutions to common problems. Information that Canner may gather includes, but is not limited to, the following: API calls, web traffic, page views, source and target IP addresses, amount of data moved, bandwidth usage, storage usage. Canner may gather additional information, and you can always check this Policy, as may be updated from time to time, in order to determine what information is currently gathered by Canner.

Surveys and Social Media

If you have opted to participate, we may occasionally request information through surveys or similar methods. Participation is entirely voluntary, and you can decide whether to disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (name, email and shipping address), and demographic information (zip code, age). If you provide personal information about somebody else, such as a spouse or work colleague, we will assume that you have their permission to do so. Our Sites may also use social media features, such as the Facebook ‘like’ button. These features may collect your IP address and which page you are visiting and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. You may be given the option to post information about your activities on our Sites to a profile page of yours that is provided by a third party social media network in order to share with others within your network. Social media features are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Sites. We may provide bulletin boards, blogs, or chat rooms on our Sites. Any personal information you choose to submit in such a forum may be read, collected, or used by others who visit these forums, and may be used to send you unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for the personal information you choose to submit in these forums.

Data Sharing with Third Parties

Vendors and Service Providers: To assist us in meeting our business operations needs and to perform certain services and functions, we may share personal data with vendors and service providers we engage to perform tasks on our behalf. These tasks may include delivering our services, billing our customers, processing analytics, authentication, and handling support tickets.

Pursuant to our instructions, these parties will access, process, or store personal data in the course of performing their duties to us. We take commercially reasonable steps to ensure our service providers adhere to the security standards we apply to your personal data and anonymize your personal data whenever possible.

AI Technologies: Certain features and functionalities of the product may be facilitated or powered by AI technologies (Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLM), etc.). We will not use and not authorize any of our third-party service providers to use your Personal Data to train any LLM or other AI models unless we have explicitly obtained your prior consent, or you have expressly opted into our use of your personal data for such purposes.

Google API: The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Our products utilize Google APIs to integrate with G Suite applications. We transparently request your explicit permission to access specific data, such as email address for authentication and spreadsheet content, solely to perform the intended functions of the add-on. We adhere to the principles of least privilege requesting, only the minimum permissions essential for our products' functionalities.

For example, importing into Google Sheet data generated from Canner’s products, or to display and run our product’s web content within pop-ups and sidebars inside Google applications.

International Transfers

We are an entity which is based in the United States of America, and we may utilize service providers that are based outside of the European Economic Area (EEA). This means that your personal data may be transferred outside of the EEA. Whenever we transfer your personal data out of the EEA, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it by ensuring at least one of the following safeguards is implemented:

Canner is committed to protecting the security of the information we collect from you. You can opt-out of any disclosures by Canner of your personal information in accordance with this Policy. Our opt-out procedure is simple and straightforward. In order to opt-out, please contact us by email or mail as per the For "More Information section" below and inform us that you are electing to opt out of any and all disclosures of your personal information by Canner. We will promptly honor and confirm your request by email or mail. You also have the right to know what personal information about you is included in our databases and to ensure that such information is accurate and relevant for the purposes for which Canner collected it. You may access, edit or delete your personal information by contacting Canner by mail or email as per the For More Information section below. In making modifications to your personal information in Canner’s possession, you must provide only truthful, complete, and accurate information. Canner will endeavor to respond in a timely manner to all reasonable written or email requests to view, modify, or delete your personal information, but in no event will our initial response take longer than thirty (30) days. We reserve the right to verify the identity of anyone requesting access to personal information pursuant to this Policy. No Fee Usually Required

You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.

Acceptance of Privacy Policy

Children’s Privacy

Canner products and services are not intended for or targeted at children under 18, and we do not knowingly or intentionally collect Personal Data about children under 18.  In the event we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under age 13, we will terminate the any account and communications, and delete such information. If you believe we have collected Personal Data about a child, please contact us at privacy@cannerdata.com so that we may delete the information.
